  • On-call required? Yes, STEMI program call rotation; Will participate in "Buddy" call during orientation period, after orientation period will take a minimum of 10 call days a month

  • RTO Parameters: RTO is no more than 10 days and will require an additional 2 weeks to the assignment. No RTO during the first or last week of assignment.

    • Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, RCIS
    • Required for all RNs and RRTs. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
    • Required for all candidates. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
    • Required for ED RNs, PACU RNs, OR RN's and RRTs. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
    • Required for Womens Center RNs and RRTs. Must be AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics).
    • Required for all RNs except those in PACU, OR, Women's Center, or Cardiac Cath Lab.

        • Unit Specific Information
        • The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RN (CVIS RN) performs within the scope of an RN license as well as performs a wide range of technical skills, utilized during a variety of Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The CVIS RN is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.

          • Notice given 48 hours in advance of shift: Refusal to change may result in forfeiting guaranteed hours for pay period
