seeking a Software Engineer to support Strike. The position will
deploy, research, support, customize, and maintain the suite of
Commercial and Open Source applications used by Software and
Systems Engineering. The selected candidate will support a
classified program through the development, modification, and
maintenance of custom software tools designed to meet sector
customer needs. This role will collaborate with multiple functional
areas to troubleshoot issues, deliver scalable software solutions,
and influence IT standards.
Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and
systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment
designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design,
development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems
for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to
resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data
acquisition, programming techniques and controls; Designing,
developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions in support of
enterprise initiatives
Ensures software standards are met.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3,
depending on the candidate's education and experience. Basic
Qualifications for Level 2:
Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 2 years of
engineering/technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in
a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus
0 years of engineering/technical experience
Demonstrated ability in scripting languages
NET MVC, .NET Framework or .Net Core, and/or Entity Framework
Experience with C# or C++ programming languages
Experience with VMS or LINUX/UNIX operating systems
Experience with CSS classes and styling, HTML, and Javascript or
Typescript
Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL language
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret level
clearance, with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special
program access (PAR) .
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570 certification, such as
CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security
certifications 90 days from hire date.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 5 years of
engineering/technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in
a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus
3 years of engineering/technical experience
Demonstrated ability in scripting languages
Experience with C# or C++, Java, or--Python--programming
languages
NET MVC, .NET Framework and .Net Core, and/or Entity Framework
High Proficiency with CSS classes and styling, HTML, and JavaScript
or Typescript
Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL language
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret level
clearance, with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special
program access (PAR).
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570 certification, such as
CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security
certifications 90 days from hire date.
Net Core/MVC
Experience with REST and Web API technologies
Knowledge of Unit Testing Methodology
Knowledge of AzureDevOps/TFS capabilities such as build and release
pipelines, work item management and process flow
Competence as a developer utilizing ServiceNow's App Engine to
create applications and digital workflows.
DoD 8570 certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or
similar network/security certifications
Active DoD Secret level clearance.
